Ongoing Programs

WEEKLY/MONTHLY – 2017

StoryTime
Every Friday at 10:00 am. This is a year-round program that includes stories, finger plays, songs, and crafts. Designed for children ages 0-5; however, all ages are welcome to attend. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate. No registration is required.

Adult Book Discussion Groups
Second Thursday of each month at 9:45 am. A variety of books is chosen and a schedule of upcoming books to be discussed is available at the Main Circulation Desk. New members are always welcome.

Evening Book Discussion Group
Fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm. A variety of books is chosen. Copies available at the circulation desk. New members are always welcome.

Memory Cafe
Meets monthly on alternating Saturdays at 12:45 pm at the Huntington Common Bradford Commons Bistro. Intended for families dealing with Alzheimers. A place to gather, play a game, and share special memories.

Monthly Computer Classes/Equipment/Copy Center
Learn how to find information by searching a reputable, reliable online system. Job search, download audiobooks, apps for your portable device, scan, fax and copy. Call the Circulation Desk for details.

Walk-In Wireless
Free walk-in wireless access is available through the Maine State Library during regular hours. To use this service you must have your own laptop with either a built-in adapter or a wireless card. For more information please call the Library.
