LOCAL AUTHOR – ANDY YOUNG PRESENTS “YOUNG IDEAS”

October 19, 2016 @ 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Please join us on Wednesday October 19th at 6:00 pm for an author visit from Andy Young.  Andy will read from, sell, and sign copies of his new book, Young Ideas.
Who is Andy Young?  After a forgettable academic career (88th in a high school class of 180, then six years of college with one lone degree to show for it) Andy Young continued his extended adolescence with a 14-year stint as a radio announcer/publicist for a series of professional baseball and hockey teams before acquiring his teaching certification in 2003. The holder of the record for lowest grade point average of any University of Connecticut graduate, he is a former landscaper, dishwasher, fruit picker, babysitter, algebra tutor, gutter cleaner, irrigation ditch digger, and caterer’s assistant. He currently teaches English and literacy at Kennebunk High School. Young Ideas, a collection of columns previously published in one of several Maine newspapers, is his first book.
The Library is located at 18 Maine Street, Kennebunkport.  For more information on this event, please call (207) 967-2778.
