We’re collaborating with local children’s book author Jeff Moulton\, who wrote an adorable little tale titled Mumford Saves the World\, based on his own rescue dog. And since this March\, our Furry Tales theme is “Rescue Dogs Rock\,” we can’t think of a better way to celebrate! \n\n\n\n\nMumford Saves the World focuses on a rescued Boston Terrier from Mississippi who thinks of himself as a superhero. After becoming injured\, he is rescued by a local animal shelter and eventually adopted by a family from Maine. Two years after being adopted\, Mumford reflects on how important it is to have a positive outlook on life and to trust those who love you most. Mumford’s family took him in and chose to love him for who he is\, and Mumford now repays the favor.
