SNOWFLAKE TOTE – LET IT SNOW

Wednesday, January 17 from 3:15-4:15 p.m. Local artist, Marguerite Genest will teach us how to paint a snowman or snowflake on a tote. Pre-registration is required, this class is for children ages 10 and up at 967-2778.

Banjo Jimmy

The groovy events continue for our summer reading program on Thursday, July 20, at 10:30 AM, join us to sing along with Banjo Jimmy as he performs some Beatles tunes and other family favorites! There will also be a musical craft for kids. All ages are welcome to this rain or shine event. Pre-registration is required. Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library, 18 Maine Street, Kennebunkport. BOOK SIGNING WITH GIOVANNA AND ANITA MCBRIDE

Join us on August 1st at 10:00 am for a very special “pop-up” book reading and signing with Giovanna (Gigi) McBride, author of Gigi at the Whitehouse!, and her mother Anita McBride, former Chief of Staff to First Lady Laura Bush!

Gigi at the White House! is based on Gigi’s real-life experience. It was written for early readers and follows Gigi on many adventures exploring the White House at the Easter Egg Roll, Fourth of July, Halloween, and Christmas. Gigi at the White House! is included on First Lady Laura Bush’s 2022 Summer Reading List for Kids. Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing at the event.

MINI CANVAS PAINT CLASS – LET IT SNOW

MERMAID & PIRATE ADVENTURE

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Stories, songs, mermaid games and pirate antics! Pirate or mermaid costumes are encouraged! A local mermaid and author will read her mermaid story, and Pete the Pirate will share a pirate tale. Bring a box that will be your ship to sit in on the lawn. Decorations for your boat and sailor spyglasses will be provided.

Registration is required and this program is limited to 15 registrants. Ages: 4 to 10.
