Museum Passes


Thanks to the Maine State Library ARPA Funds Grant, for three years we will be offering museum passes to six different institutions throughout Maine for all Kennebunkport residents and patrons of the Graves Library to enjoy.

Brick Store Museum

A regionally-centered community museum focusing on the history, art, and culture of the Kennebunks. The Brick Store Museum boasts a collection of more than 70,000 historically significant artifacts.

Brick Store Museum Hours:

Tuesday – Friday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This daily pass allows for a group of two adults w/up to four children (ages 16 & under).

 

Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine

Dedicated to child development and learning with a focus on play-based experiences in STEM, performing arts, visual arts, and culture. The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine is housed in a brand new, state-of-the-art building on Thompson’s Point, and is home to Maddy’s Theater, the oldest continuously operating children’s theatre in the United States.

Children’s Museum Hours:

Wednesday – Sunday (Session 1) 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., (Session 2) 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
* All sessions and theatre tickets must be reserved in advance (members & non-members)

This daily pass allows for a group of up to 6 guests (additional visitors will be charged a discounted group rate).

 

Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens

Offering 300 acres of gardens and green spaces, the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is the largest botanical garden in New England. Visitors can enjoy garden tours, family activities, and exhibits such as the Butterfly House, Dahlia Garden, and Bee Exhibit.

Ogunquit Museum of American Art

A seasonal museum showcasing American art from the modern and contemporary eras, with a rotation of special exhibitions. The Museum’s collection includes 3,000 paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints, photographs, and films. Visitors can also enjoy a three-acre seaside sculpture garden.

Ogunquit Museum Hours:

April 12 – November 17
Daily 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Portland Museum of Art

Located in the Arts District in downtown Portland, the PMA boasts a collection of more than 22,000 artworks, featuring pieces by noteworthy artists such as Winslow Homer, Andrew Wyeth, N.C. Wyeth, and Lois Dodd. In addition to its collections, the PMA offers several special exhibitions throughout the year, and film screenings in the museum’s cinema.

Portland Museum Hours:

Wednesday & Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Friday 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Free from 4-8 p.m.)
Saturday & Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

This daily pass allows for a group of two adults w/up to six children.

 

Seashore Trolley Museum

The first (and largest) Electric Railway Museum in the world displaying the history of public transportation. Visitors can ride in a vintage trolley dating back to the early 1900s, in addition to exploring a collection of streetcars, rail vehicles, buses, and more. The Restoration Shop allows visitors an inside look at the restoration process.

Daily passes are available for one family at a 50% admission discount.
