AVOIDING ISOLATION – JUNE 29 @ 9:30 AM

 

Did you know that the Kennebunkport Health Department is celebrating its 75th year in service to the community?  As part of the celebration, they are hosting monthly discussions held here at Graves Library.  For the June 29 session, Officer Candice Simeoni (head of elder crimes at the Kennebunk Police Department), Detective Cory Tardif (Kennebunkport Police Department) and a YCEATF member will talk about resources in our community for staying engaged and active to avoid isolation. Light refreshments will be served.

COGNITIVE DECLINE – MAY 25 @ 9:30 AM

 

Did you know that the Kennebunkport Health Department is celebrating its 75th year in service to the community?  As part of the celebration, they are hosting monthly discussions held here at Graves Library.  For the May 25th session, Officer Candice Simeoni (head of elder crimes at the Kennebunk Police Department), Detective Cory Tardif (Kennebunkport Police Department) and Adam Hartwigs (York County Public Health Liaison for the Maine CDC) will talk about what cognitive decline means and why this impairment is a risk factor for victimization.  This session will also introduce ways to help family members with cognitive impairment and recognize the responsibilities of the caregivers.  Light refreshments will be served.
