EVENING BOOK GROUP – via ZOOM MEETING

The Evening Book Group meets the last Thursday of every month at 6:00 p.m.  If you would like to participate in our meeting via Zoom, please call the Library (207-967-2778) to be added to the invitation list.  A link will be sent to all participants on Thursday, April 30 to access the meeting.  We will be discussing  American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins.

 

 

Lydia Quixano Pérez lives in the Mexican city of Acapulco. She runs a bookstore. She has a son, Luca, the love of her life, and a wonderful husband who is a journalist. And while there are cracks beginning to show in Acapulco because of the drug cartels, her life is, by and large, fairly comfortable. [Good Reads]
