Dot Painting on Glass – with Local Artist Rayanne Coombs

Resident artist Rayanne Coombs will demonstrate how to “paint the glass red” using special dotting tools. Thursday, February 20 at 5:30 pm. Class size is limited, so please call the Library to register at 207-967-2778. All supplies will be provided, and light refreshments will be served.

MAINE ARTIST MARGUERITE GENEST PAINT & SIP

Maine Artist Marguerite Genest Paint & Sip

Marguerite will teach us how to paint a wine bag with a label, the perfect gift for anyone on your shopping list. Marguerite Genest, Ed.D. is an educational consultant and artist currently living in Kennebunk. Originally from Western MA, she holds a masters degree in Clinical Psychology and a doctorate in Educational Psychology. As an instructor of Social Emotional Learning and executive functioning skills, she focuses on the development of self-awareness that ultimately determines one’s view of self and the external world.  She exhibits her art in galleries and shows in New England and paints commissioned portraits of children and pets. OCEAN WONDERS WATERCOLOR CLASS

 

Local artist Piper Castle will lead an ocean themed watercolor class outside the library. All supplies will be provided. Please bring a towel and sunscreen. Registration is required and the class is limited to 12 registrants. Ages 6+.
