Oh My Gourd!

Our gourd decorating contest is back! How can you participate? Come to the Library, select a gourd, take it home, and transform it into a favorite book character. Bring it back to the Library to go on display. It’s that easy! Gourds will be available starting November 3 with prizes awarded by the end of November. Louis T. UPCYCLED BOOK ART

Upcycled Book Art Thursday, September 18, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM

Join resident artist Rayanne Coombs and learn how to upcycle an old book into a beautiful fall decor piece. This project (known as fun art, not fine art) requires no crafting or artistic experience. You will choose a book, flowers, and embellishments and complete the project from start to finish. REGISTRATION REQUIRED. BUTTERFLY TOTE

Butterfly Tote Bag

Tuesday, June 18, 1 PM

Local artist Marguerite Genest will teach children how to paint a butterfly on a tote bag. This program is for ages eight and up. Pre-registration is required. All supplies provided.
