Sharing for Shamrocks March 1 – 31

Join us in the spirit of giving as we partner again with Community Gourmet to provide much-needed care packages for local seniors. Bring food items and help us fill up the pot of gold! For every item donated, we will add a shamrock to the windows. Let’s make the Library green! You can also make a handmade card to include in the care packages. *This event will run through 3/31. Needed food items: Hormel meals, flip-top soups, Carnation Instant Breakfast, Lorna Doones, Tuna fish/chicken packets, Nutri Grain bars, macaroni and cheese cups, and fruit cups.

Card Making Station Through December 20, 10-4:00

We want to invite people of all ages to attend our card-making program, where we will design cards to go with care packages from the Community Gourmet. This is a beautiful opportunity to show your support and positivity to those in need. During the program, you can design and personalize cards using various materials, such as markers, stickers, and stamps. These cards will be included in care packages distributed to seniors and individuals in our community. The Community Gourmet is a grass-roots effort to address food insecurity in Southern Maine. Suggested Donations are: Hormel meals, Cans of soup/beef stew with a flip top, Carnation Instant Breakfast, Lorna Dunes, Tuna fish/chicken packets, Nutri Grain bars, Macaroni and cheese cups, Individual fruit cups, thank you for all your support!

HOLIDAY SONGS SING-ALONG WITH MR. ERIC

Holiday Songs Sing-Along with Mr. Eric on Friday, December 13 at 10 AM. 

Join us for a special story time while we play instruments Mr. Eric will play his guitar and lead us in some great holiday songs. Mr. Eric is a local musician and fan favorite.

MAINE ARTIST MARGUERITE GENEST PAINT & SIP

Maine Artist Marguerite Genest Paint & Sip

Thursday, December 5 at 5:30 PM

Marguerite will teach us how to paint a wine bag with a label, the perfect gift for anyone on your shopping list. Marguerite Genest, Ed.D. is an educational consultant and artist currently living in Kennebunk. Originally from Western MA, she holds a masters degree in Clinical Psychology and a doctorate in Educational Psychology. As an instructor of Social Emotional Learning and executive functioning skills, she focuses on the development of self-awareness that ultimately determines one’s view of self and the external world.  She exhibits her art in galleries and shows in New England and paints commissioned portraits of children and pets. A fantastic selection of art by local artists is also available.
