MISS TERRI GUEST READER AT THE BUNNY HOP

Miss Terri Guest Reader at Kennebunk Animal Welfare Society Bunny Hop on Friday, April 12, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.  

Join Miss Terri as she reads at the AWS Youth Program’s second annual Bunny Hop! Children and families can enjoy crafts, stories, face painting, and time spent with real springtime animals. AWS is located at 48 Holland Road, Kennebunk. For further information, please call 985-3244.

STORYTIME WITH LOCAL AUTHOR JOCELYN LACEY

Joined by a Kennebunkport Police Officer, local author Jocelyn Lacey will be sharing her new children’s book What Do Police Officers Do? The program will take place outside on the lawn (weather permitting). Join us as we learn about police officers and the many jobs they do in the community where they live!

The groovy events for our summer reading program continue on Thursday, July 25, at 10:30 AM. Join us to sing along with Banjo Jimmy as he performs some Beatles tunes and other family favorites! There will also be a musical craft for kids. All ages are welcome to this rain-or-shine event. Pre-registration is required.

Beginning June 21st, the Graves Library will offer its 2022 Summer Reading Program – Oceans of Possibilities. We will be offering a wide range of programs including visits from local authors, a pirates and mermaids party, origami and crafts to-go, a watercolor class with a local artist, story times on the lawn, and a stuffed animals sleepover!

There is one focused on tracking invasive crabs in the intertidal zone, and another focused on documenting coastal flooding resulting from sea level rise.
